It started with a guitar
NimaGiti is an Iranian bass player, double bassist, composer and studio producer. His music lives where the raw energy of rock meets the harmonic sophistication and improvisational spirit of jazz.
The journey began in childhood with classical and electric guitar, then found its true voice in bass guitar and double bass. Along the way came synthesizers, drums and music production — shaping a multi-instrumentalist whose sound is rooted equally in the stage and the studio.
Raised on rock and metal, he found his artistic identity in jazz. The result is a fusion that pairs the power and intensity of progressive rock with the harmonic language and freedom of modern jazz — precise in execution, unguarded in feeling.
